Handmade Cyclocross Bike #22: Michael's Rocklobster



Michael sent in his Rocklobster that almost came out under 18 pounds to put it into both galleries. No matter, this bike looks great. Love that sky blue with the cream panels.

What's up with that bottom bracket drop?!?!

It has a lower bb height than most cyclocross bikes, since most courses aren't truly off-road in the same sense as for mountain bikes races, I'm taking full advantage of lower center of gravity which helps with tight turns that we see at most races.

Hard to believe that baby doesn't go sub 18 with the K's. Are the Salsa parts that heavy?
